September Dates

  • Wed, Sept. 2 | Firedrill Practice: Students and staff will be participating in a firedrill practice on Wednesday, September 2 at 2:05 pm. If you are planning on picking up your student early, we encourage you to pick up prior to 2:00 pm so that you are not delayed.
  • Mon, Sept. 7 | No Classes: There are no classes scheduled on Monday, September 7 due to the Labour Day holiday.
  • Wed, Sept. 9 | Give-A-Cheer Assembly: EFS will host its first Give-A-Cheer assembly to celebrate the successes of students and staff.
  • Thur, Sept. 10 | School Council & EFS Society Meeting: We encourage all parents/guardians to join us for our first School Council & EFS Children's Society Meeting of the year on Thursday, September 10 at 6:45 pm. 
  • Wed, Sept. 16 | Paws, Claws & Stars Presentation: We are excited to welcome the Telus Spark Science education team to EFS on Wednesday, September 16 for a presentation of Paws, Claws & Stars.

  • Thur, Sept. 24 | Student Learning Conferences (PM): Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend our first Student Learning Conferences of the year on Thursday, September 24 from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm. More details to come!
  • Fri, Sept. 25 | No Classes: There are no classes scheduled for Friday, September 25 to support our same-day Student Learning Conferences.
  • Fri, Sept. 25 | Student Learning Conferences (AM): Parents/Guardians are encouraged to attend our first Student Learning Conferences ​​​​​​​of the year on Friday, September 25 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. More details to come!
  • Mon, Sept. 28 | Terry Fox Walk, Run & Roll: Families and volunteers are invited to join us for our annual Terry Fox Walk, Run & Roll on Monday, September 28. More details to come!
  • Wed, Sept. 30 | No Classes: There are no classes scheduled on Wednesday, September 30 due to National Truth & Reconciliation Day holiday.
