February & March

Welcome back to school. I hope everyone had a wonderful break. I’m so proud of our students and the progress they’ve made toward their individual goals. Our students have had some wonderful moments engaging in a variety of sensory activities.  Recently, we’ve enjoyed spending some afternoons outdoors, thanks to the mild weather we have been experiencing this month. For the months of January and February we’ll be exploring the theme Citizenship and Belonging through engaging in book studies and cooking activities. We will also continue to work on developing literacy and numeracy skills.

November, December & January

Fall is almost over and we have enjoyed spending time outdoors, observing all the seasonal changes it brings. As part of our fall activities, we have read books about pumpkins and did a pumpkin sensory activity. We continued to focus on literacy development through "letter of the week" learning activities, weekly trips to the school library, shared reading and book studies. We have also celebrated our students’ growth and achievements by showcasing tasks that they can do independently.

In the coming months, we will continue our book studies, engage in numeracy activities, and explore various cultures represented in our classroom and work on each student's individual goals. Thanks for your continued support!

September & October

We are thrilled to have everyone back at school and hope you had a wonderful summer break. We welcome all our returning students back to school and we extend a special welcome to Felix, who is new to our school this year. We are excited to have him join our community. The school year is off to a great start. We have already enjoyed some great outdoor activities together. As we dive into the months ahead, we are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth and fun.
