It has been quick turn from warm weather of autumn to the cold temperatures of winter! November will be a busy month as we hold a lockdown practice, enjoy a Kananaskis in the Classroom presentation, our Remembrance Day assembly and enjoy a quick November break.

It has been wonderful experience to witness the growth and engagement of learning in each of our students since the start of the school year. We appreciated the opportunity to meet with families to discuss Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to determine goals and support their development. As we move into December, we look forward to treating students to a presentation by Three Hats Circus and hosting a Winter Concert for families to attend! Our students will be working hard on learning their parts for the concert and excited to perform for families on Thursday, December 21. In addition to the winter concert, we will be hosting a collection box for the Mayor's Annual Food Drive. We ask any attending families to bring a non-perishable food item for the food drive.

We hope everyone has an opportunity to celebrate the seasonal festivities of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Winter (Ipákssaisstoyi) Solstice and Omisoka with family and friends over winter break. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday, and look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year!
