December Highlights

• Mon, Dec. 1 | Calgary Food Bank Drive: We are proud to start our annual collection of donated items for the Calgary Food Bank on Monday, December 1. For more details on what items to donate, please visit the Calgary Food BankWishlist
• Wed, Dec. 10 | School Council & Society Meeting (AM Start Time): We invite parents/legal guardians to attend our upcoming School Council & EFS Children's Society Meeting before our Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 10 at 11:30 am. 
• Wed, Dec. 10 | Winter Concert: We invite families to attend our annual Winter Concert on Wednesday, December 10 at 1:00 pm. We hope to see you there!
• Thur, Dec. 11 | Student Photo Retakes: Lifetouch Canada will be onsite on Thursday, December 11 for student photo retakes. We will be sending proofs home early this week from November's photo day as well. This event will be in morning only.
• Tue, Dec. 16 | Mr. Skinny Circus: We are excited to welcome Mr. Skinny to our school for a fun student presentation to help end our week before winter break.
• Wed, Dec. 17 | Give-A-Cheer Assembly: Every month, we look forward to celebrating the success and/or contributions of our students and staff during our Give-A-Cheer Assembly.
• Fri, Dec. 19 | PJ & Movie Day: Students and staff get to kick off winter break with Pajama & Movie Day on Friday, December 19. Make sure to dress in your comfy and cozy pajamas!
• Mon, Dec. 22 | Winter Break Starts: There are no classes due to the system wide winter break from Monday, December 22 to Sunday, January 4. Important! Please be advised that the school will be closed during winter break. Please ensure that you make arrangements to pick up any necessary student equipment before Friday, December 19.
• Mon, Jan. 5 | Classes Start: We look forward to welcoming students back to classes on Monday, January 5.

Reminder | Student Equipment

We wish to remind all families that should you need student equipment for the winter break, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make suitable arrangement to pick up equipment on/before Friday, December 19. Please reach out to your student's teacher to make appropriate arrangements. Important! Please be advised that due to space issues, buses are not responsible for the transportation of extra student equipment.
